Critically acclaimed 1983 electro version of the Sex Pistols' same-named LP reissued on 180 gram vinyl. Formed in 1979 by deejay and promoter Jock McDonald, British punk band The Bollock Brothers have maintained a prolific recording career and tour schedule for over thirty years with a loyal fan base in France, Belgium and Germany. Noted for their Led Zeppelin and David Bowie cover versions, their electro reworking of the Sex Pistols' Never Mind The Bollocks is among their most critically acclaimed. In somewhat of a publicity coup, the album features Michael Fagan, the man who'd famously entered HRH The Queen's Buckingham Palace bedchamber in 1982. Replete with drum machines and synthesizers, the album's appeal lies in McDonald's cheeky delivery of songs so robust they can withstand any reinterpretation, no matter how irreverent. The second of their four albums released on Charly in the early 1980 s, this reissue has been re-mastered from the original tapes and and is presented here on 180 gram vinyl.
