From the mid-fifties until his death in the early nineties, MILES DAVIS was one of the most
ingenious and innovative jazz musicians.
He was also one of the most commercially successful musicians in the genre and regularly
landed with his albums in the international charts. He also won 8 Grammy awards. The 2 CD
set "Live in Switzerland" was broadcast by TWFM in 1985 and is an impressive testament to
his musical genius. MILES DAVIS plays with his own trance-like devotion, supported by a
backing band whose musical virtuosity breaks all boundaries.
