CYPHER16 are a young, innovative and refreshingly original rock band who harness metal and a hint of industrial to create a truly massive sound. The band have already toured in SIXTEEN countries, including China and India, playing shows and festivals with the likes of Amaranthe, Fear Factory, Children Of Bodom, Behemoth, Lamb Of God and Slayer. Despite only being together a few years, the band have already achieved more than many bands ever will: their debut release, 'The Man Of The Black Abyss' EP, led to an invitation to tour the US, playing with Mudvayne and In This Moment, and that year Cypher16 also became one of the first bands to tour in India. They have since visited the country five times - a record for any Western rock band! Following that release the band entered Fortress Studios with Dan Weller (Sikth/Enter Shikari/Young Guns) to record The Metaphorical Apocalypse EP, with the video being shot at Battersea Power Station and premiering on Scuzz TV (watch HERE: www. Youtube. com/watch?v=Q8CYYGB0md4). The video has since been chosen by Scuzz as one of their 'best videos of all time', and watching it, it's easy to see why. The band then returned to India twice more, including a Metal Hammer sponsored run, playing with Children Of Bodom in Bangalore. The 'Determine' EP was released exclusively by Metal Hammer in 2013. It was premiered exclusively on SCUZZ, and played by XFM's Ian Camfield. More touring followed, including a slot on the second stage at BLOODSTOCK. Over the course of 2014/15, the band have played in THIRTEEN countries, toured with Amaranthe, played two tours of China (twenty-four shows!), and recorded their debut album with Romesh Dodangoda (Motorhead, Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine). They are already confirmed for Hammerfest in March 2016 and will tour extensively worldwide to promote the album.
