2CDs in seven-inch deluxe gatefold packaging, with 8-page booklet
Altered Images' third and final album was released in June 1983, presenting a more
sophisticated sound and image than the previous two albums. In an unusual move, two
established producers were responsible for four songs each on the album. It was
preceded by the hit singles "Don't Talk To Me About Love", a # 7 UK hit, produced by
Mike Chapman (Blondie) and "Bring Me Closer" (# 29), produced by Tony Visconti (David
Bowie, T. Rex).
In this very special 40th anniversary 2CD set, CD1 features the original album, while
bonus CD2 contains the three non-album B-sides, two extended 12" versions, a live track
and three single edits.
The two CDs are presented in brand new seven-inch deluxe gatefold packaging, with an
8-page booklet which includes all the lyrics (including the three B-sides) and the credits.
