The vaults at FAME Studios continue to be an unyielding source of top-drawer rare and unissued Southern soul from the 60s and 70s, and we end another great year's worth of archive research with the second volume in our multi-artist "Hall Of Fame" series.

As with volume 1, the focus is primarily on previously unissued material, but all of the tracks are new to CD and none of the issued material has been available since its first release on 45 in the 1960s.

The Who's Who of Fame is well represented by George Jackson, Clarence Carter and George Soul , while other household names for soul fans such as Phillip Mitchell, Linda Carr, Otis Clay and Joe Simon also feature.

Once again the CD booklet features rare and previously unpublished pictures from the 60s, many of them taken inside FAME studios itself.
