Ace's excavation of the tape vaults of Huey Meaux continues with a collection by one of the most popular artists of New Orleans R&B. After he left Chess in 1964, Clarence Frogman Henry recorded for Meaux on and off for almost a decade, Baby Ain't That Love collects up almost every master he cut during the period plus four sides recorded in Memphis for Dial. The CD includes nine titles that have not been issued before. There's plenty of good time New Orleans R&B, along with some solid soul, funk, a touch of country and even a bit of reggae to keep things varied and lively. Henry, who is still performing at the age of almost 80, has many admirers in the UK who will enjoy this collection. Limited edition of 1500 copies.
