One of the great lost Latin soul albums of the 1970s 'Cesar 830' is an anomaly within the Flying Dutchman catalogue, Recorded by Cesar Ascarrunz, a Bolivian expat and San Francisco nightclub owner it is a wonderful blend of many latin styles.
Produced by Flying Dutchman owner Bob Thiele, arranged by Miles Davis' producer Teo Macero, the personnel include Hadley Caliman, Merle Saunders, and Francisco Aquabella, Vocals are by Linda Tillery, known for her time
with cult San Francisco band Loading Zone.
